Arrival in Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport can be a bit overwhelming. I therefore like to share a few tips to make it a smooth coming "home".
Get a seat in your airplane in the first 3 rows on the aisle, that's where the expats usually sit to get out in time, so make a reservation early
Singapore Airlines gets into Bali earlier than Jet Star and Air Asia, KLM etc, so less immigration traffic when travelling with SIA
In the plane: Fill in customs and immigration form and prepare 35 USD or 350.000 Rp, put the money into the passport (plus keep some small notes 2-10.000 in your pocket).
Get out of the plane as quickly as you can, pass by all passengers and reach visa payment counter FIRST
Get the 4 week Visa for 35 USD or 350.000 Rp and proceed quickly to the immigration lines to avoid long queues.
